If you love the idea of a wintery snowy Christmas, this is the perfect way to indulge. Join us at Tarraleah Estate for a weekend of food, frivolity and old fashioned fun. Book the Friday and Saturday night, or just the Saturday and get ready to bring in a Winter Christmas with style.

Each Lodge Suite has a King size bed and spacious luxury bathroom with separate rain shower and luxury bath. You will have access to the exclusive Lodge Lounge and bar. The daily rate is inclusive of breakfast each day. The Highlander Arms is open for dinner bookings on the Friday, and enjoy the sumptuous gala banquet among like-minded revellers on the Saturday night.

Proposed Event Schedule:

Friday

Check into The Lodge for a quiet night in front of the fire, and book into the Highlander Arms for dinner. Revel in the fact that for this Christmas, you don’t have to put any bikes or trampolines together and no one needs fight about who brings what! Booking onto our Whisky Tasting is optional (though some would say essential), to help you further relax and get into the spirit.

Saturday

Breakfast in the Lodge Dining Room, a morning treasure hunt, an afternoon walk, hang out with our friendly but ever hungry ducks, goats and hairy cows. – Don’t forget to bring along your own lunch goodies, or arrange a gourmet hamper.

If treasure hunting and exploring is not your thing, sit back and relax in front of the fire or grab a board game and settle into a good ol’ Christmas grudge match. Study up, in preparation for our annual pub trivia. (No smart phones for trivia please…..) Naturally this is hosted in the Highlander Arms Bar to help you drown your sorrows or toast your crowning achievements.

The gala evening then kicks off with a pre-dinner mulled wine ……….. before heading in for our decadent Christmas feast and a night of fun. Dance the night away (hopefully by July we can all put our dancing shoes back on!) with live music and enjoy traditional Christmas games and prizes!

Sunday 

After breakfast, everyone gets a late check-out of noon, perfect opportunity to visit the hairy cows one last time.
